Charges for Downloadable Contracts: The standard draft legal document templates hosted on this Website are available for downloading only upon full payment of the Charges for the relevant document. Documents once downloaded after payment of the Charges are stored in your account, for ease of your access, and you can avail of unlimited downloads of the same document, without payment of any further charges.
Charges for Business / Legal Consultation: For availing of business / personal legal consultations, whether with regard to compliances or otherwise, you shall be required to pay the applicable Charges in full to book a consultation. Provision of a written response / record of the consultation shall be charged extra.
Charges for Providing Legal Assistance: For availing of our drafting / vetting / other legal / ancillary / facilitation services, a comprehensive quotation shall be provided to you once you freeze your requirement. The Account Manager assigned to you shall inform you if any change is to be made in the shared quotation. 90% of the total Charges quoted shall be paid in advance to book the service. The balance 10% shall be paid upon Custos Legis intimating to you that the service booked is ready for delivery, but before the product is dispatched. The product shall be dispatched only after realization of the Charges paid in full.
Shipping / Delivery Charges: Depending upon the service chosen by you, and your location, Custos Legis may charge shipping / delivery charges as applicable. Please note that shipping / delivery charges for a location outside India may be significantly higher than within India. The shipping / delivery charges, if any, shall be paid by you before the item is shipped / couriered / posted.
Taxes: You are responsible for paying all fees associated with the use of the Website and the Paid Content, and you agree to bear any and all applicable taxes, charges, cesses etc. levied thereon.
Taxes on Discount: Any discounts offered to you by Custos Legis shall not be exempted from tax, and you shall be liable to pay the applicable taxes on coupon discount amount. The exact discount you will be getting is the coupon code discount amount, minus the taxes which are applicable.

Further, in case a document fails to download even after you have successfully paid the Charges, please write to accounts@custoslegisonline.com immediately from your registered e-mail address, giving your user details, transaction and payment details. We shall, after confirming the status of the payment, revert to you within a maximum of 3 Business Days, and make the document downloaded available to you from back-end or via e-mail.
Terms of Cancellation, Refund & Forfeiture: Charges paid for the Paid Content downloaded from the Website are non-cancellable and non-refundable.
For cancellation of any drafting / vetting / other legal / ancillary / facilitation services booked, the following terms & conditions shall apply:
No cancellation shall be allowed once the product has been dispatched.
Cancellations made within the first 50% of the delivery time committed, shall attract a forfeiture of 10% of the total Charges payable.
Cancellations made after expiry of 50% of the committed delivery time but before expiry of 75% of the committed delivery time, shall attract a forfeiture of 25% of the total Charges payable.
Cancellations made after expiry of 75% of the committed delivery time shall attract a forfeiture of 50% of the total Charges payable.
Taxes paid by you and any actual expenses made on account of the services shall not be refunded.
For cancellation of any consultations booked, the following terms & conditions shall apply:
No cancellation shall be allowed within the 3 hours immediately preceding the time of the appointment.
Cancellations made between 3-6 hours prior to the time of the appointment shall attract a forfeiture of 25% of the total Charges payable.
Cancellations made between 6-9 hours prior to the time of the appointment shall attract a forfeiture of 15% of the total Charges payable.
Cancellations made more than 9 hours prior to the time of the appointment shall attract a forfeiture of 5% of the total Charges payable.
In case you have erroneously made payment twice for the same transaction, please intimate us immediately at accounts@custoslegisonline.com from your registered e-mail address, giving your user details, transaction and payment details. We shall refund the excess amount paid as per applicable terms and conditions, within a maximum of 20 Business Days, to you. Refunds shall be processed to the credit card / debit card / bank account from which the transaction was made.
You shall not be entitled to receive any refunds of / discounts / rebates on our charges on grounds of dissatisfaction with our services.
Payment Facility: Custos Legis may from time to time contract with third party payment service providers, including banks, to open nodal bank account under applicable Indian laws, to facilitate collection and receipt of the Charges and other applicable amounts from you. These third party payment service providers may include third party banking or credit card payment gateways, payment aggregators, cash on delivery or demand draft / pay order on delivery service providers, mobile payment service providers or e-wallets or through any facility as may be authorized by the Reserve Bank of India for collection, refund and remittance, as the case may be of payment or supporting the same in any manner.
